Announcements January 25th, 2012 - Tonight is WEEK A Merit badges and begins at 7 pm at Echo Lake. Regular meeting will begin at 7:30 pm, class A uniforms are to be worn.
Lost TentsAttention all scouts. we are missing tents and tarps. anyone wo has brought a tent or Tarp home please return as soon as possible.We are missing quite a few. Please check your garages, basements and storage areas
Bear Swamp - Bear Swamp Cleanup- Jan 28th 9-1 if you need service time this is an event you can attend. See Nick Napoli at the meeting for further details.

Tenderfoot Scouts - A message from Tenderfoot Leaders Mr. Lupinacci & Mr. Napoli: This week we will be finishing up all requirements that are needed to be done we have a few here and there that we need to finish. Any Tenderfoot that is done and needs to have a Scout Master Review please be in full uniform including neckerchiefs and make sure you see Mr. Smith to schedule a time with him.
Den Chiefs - There will be a short meeting during our wednesday troop meeting for current Den Chiefs. I know some of you need a new Pack Den. Please attend if at all possible. Please see Mr. Reinknecht if you have any questions.
Summer Camp 2012: Summer Camp this year will be at Camp Russell in Woodgate N.Y. from July 22nd to July 28th ,2012. The price is as follows:
CAMPER FEES: - $315 Siblings receive a $20 discount, on fee paid per scheduled payment dates LEADER FEES - $100 January 18th 2012: $50.00 per camper payment due March 07th 2012: $100.00 per camper payment due.

Snow Tubing Feburary 4th -A Message from Mr. Shafranek When: Saturday Feburary 04th Where: Blue Mountain, Palmerton PA What time: Morning session: 8:00am to 12:30pm The cost for the scout and parent will be ten dollars per person. If anyone additional it would like to participate the cost will be 20 dollars per person. Please let me know how many are going as the ski resort needs a number by the end of the week. We will be meeting at Echo at 05:30 AM
Venture Hike January 28th -29th -Scouts that are planning to go on this hike and have not packed for a overnight winter hike with us, please bring your COMPLETELY packed backpack (as though you are leaving from the meeting) so that we can do a shake down. The purpose is to help identify any extras and deficiency you may have packed and to help you with your pack adjustment system. In addition, we need to know your plan for food/cooking, shelter and who you are teaming with. Parents: if your son is going and is having the shakedown, it will be good for you to be there too to get ideas for your boys.
We will be doing that outside the building so bring your winter jackets.

Opportunities - We are in need of some volunteers to help with shopping and to assist in trip coordination, if interested please see me at the meeting.

Experienced Uniform Box - If anyone has any hiking boots or uniforms for our experienced uniform box please bring them in and give them to Mrs. Napoli. Donations of all scout clothing and equipment is welcomed.
