Monmouth Council Den Chief Training
Congratulations to Liam Dineen and Liam Radeke for completing the Den Chief Training at Quail Hill Scout Reservation this past weekend and a special thank you to Dan Jaichner, Kevin Reinknecht and Matt Chan for serving on the training Senior Staff.
YOUTH PROTECTION TRAINING FOR ADULTS- We encourage all our adults to take the youth protection training for Boy Scouts. It only takes about a half an hour online and is good for 2 years. A current and valid training certificate is mandatory for adults going to summer camp and all adult leaders. This training is not the same course as the youth protection training you may have taken for cub scouts.
1. You do not have to be a registered member of the Troop or have a member ID to take Youth Protection training.
2. To take Youth Protection training,
Click Here and create an account.
3. From the MyScouting.org portal, click on E-Learning and take the Youth Protection training.
4.Upon completion, you should print a certificate of completion to our Committee Chairperson Renee Morris for our Troop files. We suggest saving your certificate as a PDF file as well in case you need to produce it again or in case council loses it.
