  • Maryland/West Virginia Hike
We will be taking a 3 day / 2 night hike during spring break, from Thursday March 31 through Saturday April 2.
The hike will be along the Appalachian Trail in Maryland and will cover approximately 21 miles over the three days.

Some of the highlights of this section of the Appalachian trail besides some nice view points:
    - the first Washington Monument
    - the Civil War Correspondents Memorial
    - the Chesapeake & Ohio Canal
    - crossing the Potomac River on a footbridge built along side a railroad trestle
and, time permitting, when we reach our destination of Harper's Ferry West Virginia we can visit the Civil War sites and the Appalachian Trail headquarters.

If you are interested in joining us on this hike please let me or Mr Yim know.

At an upcoming meeting we will talk about planning the gear and food we will need to bring.
We're looking forward to a great hike
