  • Committee Mtg Canceled
    Due to the storm, traffic is horrible, causing issues with people getting home. The committee meeting will be rescheduled for last week in August. Stay tuned for final date.

  • Committee Meeting: Monday 08.13.18
    There will be a Committee Meeting Monday 08.13.18  @ 7:30 PM.

    We will be planning the up coming year. 

    Any Leaders or Adults Interested in teaching a Merit Badge should send me an email,
    p.misyak-peters@troop258nj.com.  We are looking for (3) more merit badges to be taught. 

    Mrs. Fee Will be teaching Personal Management this fall.
    There will be a rank & age restriction for this merit badge as it is quite involved. 

    There will be trial bike outing before the Block Island trip.  Those interested in attending this camp out need to attend.
    Another Troop News will be posted shortly.

  • Summer Camp
    Summer Camp is coming up!  We leave next Sunday

    just a few quick points:

    We will meet at Taunton School at 7AM on Sunday

    In addition to the gear we went over at the meeting, please remember to bring:
    • Class A uniform (no neckerchief)
    • a drinking cup.  (we will have drinking water at the campsite, but you will need a cup)

  • Summer Camp Transportation
    TO:  Parents of Scouts going to summer camp:

    Mrs Haven is working on the transportation roster for summer camp.  We would like to know how your scouts are planning to get to summer camp (if you plan to drive them or have made arrangements with another parent to take them, etc.).  Please contact Mrs Havens and let her know of your plans

    If you have not made arrangements to transport your scout (and gear) to summer camp, a number of the leaders have extra seats in their cars, we should be able to accommodate you.  Please contact Mrs Havens and she will try to work everybody in.

  • Campers Returning
    Our campers are returning between 10:30 -11:00am.
    Pick up will be at Mr. Costa's House.  168 Windeler.
    Please park on the grass along the road, do not drive up the driveway.
