  • Book Drive
Please see message below from James Guinee and David Wagenblast.  Would appreciate if you will help them with their project.  Very proud of them for taking the initiative to do this.

    BOOK DRIVE

Attention to all Scouts, Leaders, Parents & Supporters:

David Wagenblast and I, Jimmy Guinee, will be conducting a Book Drive within our School and Troop 258 for an award that the Boy Scouts of America offers called Messengers of Peace. It is an international organization whose main goal is to help others in need. For this, we will be conducting a Book Drive. Any books are accepted, of any genre and for any age group. Just make sure that the quality of the book is decent or more because we will not accept books that have the covers ripped off of them, are missing a few pages, or have been completely scribbled on.

Donations will be accepted this upcoming Wednesday, the 11th, and the next Wednesday, the 18th. Come to the end of the Book Drive, we will be sorting through all the books we have collected and donated them to places in need. Like for children in urban school districts such as Newark, or those with disabilities in Hospitals that don't have the freedoms and lifestyle that we do, every book will be going to places that need them, for those that are underprivileged.

Us in Howell, Monmouth County, and surrounding townships, and very fortunate to be able to have nice libraries and school systems. I hope you choose to donate to support those in need, and we both personally thank you for taking the time to read this notice. Please help us in making lives better. Reading Books are a gift, and we want to share it with others. Thank you.

    Sincerely,

    Jimmy Guinee & David Wagenblast
