Jame's eagle project - Sat 8th Oct 2016

posted Oct 7, 2016, 9:29 AM by Choong Yim
For my Eagle Scout project, I will be working with Jackson United Methodist Church to replace the existing picnic tables and benches. We will be building four tables and eight benches. My project will be held on Saturday October 8th at 12:30. The current benches have not been properly maintained for the many years they have been used. These benches have begun to rot and literally fall apart at the seams. The benches are now totally unusable. My benches and tables will be used this winter for the living nativity. It is crucial I complete this project soon as the living nativity attracts many types of people including folks with special needs and the elderly both which cannot stand for long periods of time.
I need scouts to come and volunteer their time!
Please arrive at Jackson United Methodist Church (68 Bennetts Mills Rd, Jackson, NJ 08527) on Saturday October 8th at 12:30. This project will run until about 6:00 PM. Early dinner will be provided. Please come dressed in work clothes and closed toe shoes. All you need to bring is yourself and a can-do attitude. I am available to call or text 24/7 at 732-703-0140. Thank you very much!
