Klondike - Webelos knot station - Sat, Feb 4th

posted Jan 31, 2017, 4:19 PM by Choong Yim

The troop will be volunteering again to run the knots tying station for the Webelos Klondike.
5 basic knots are required to be known and taught to scouts using the EDGE method.  They are square knot, bowline, two half hitches, clove hitch and taut line hitch

It is my understanding that the troop has 1 sled competing in the Klondike and so those that are not participating can volunteer to help the Webelos Klondike.

Those interested, please see Anthony Tudorov on Wednesday or Mr. Reinknecht and Mr. Yim for more information.  We need 2 or 3 more volunteers.

Day: Saturday 4th February
Time: 8am to 1 pm
Location: Quail Hill Scout Reservation
