We need to give Jonathan a head count for the Nutter Run.  Please email me if you are registered or still interested in attending this fundraiser.

Below is my previous post regarding the fundraiser

Scouts, Parent & Leader ~

The Sgt. Samuel Nutter Organization is sponsoring a run/walk to raise funds for a military family in need.
This year, one of our past Eagle Scouts, Jonathan Worrel,  has asked our troop to help by participating in or donating to the event. This is the 13th year the organization has sponsored a run/walk 5k event.

This year's recipient of all the funds raised will go to the family of Specialist Humberto Cortaza of Haledon, New Jersey. On January 4, 2016, Cortaza’s son, Justin, was diagnosed with Acute Lymphatic Leukemia at the age of 3.  Justin requires Chemotherapy bi weekly, and now Behavioral Therapy, Speech Therapy, and Occupational Therapy weekly.

We will be taking a head count this week and next week on how many individuals can participate in this event.  The committee felt this was a worthwhile cause and wanted to reach out to all of you.  You can run or walk in the event.  Your registration fee goes toward the fundraising.

The event will be held on May 07, 2017.  Registration begins @ 7:30am.  The race begins @ 9am.  The race will be held at New Jersey Army National Guard's Officer Candidate School in Sea Girt.
